What are PhytoCannabinoids?

Plant Cannabinoids for Health & Longevity

The word phyto, as you may know, means 'plant' in Greek. Therefore phytocannabinoids are cannabinoids that help make up the plant tissues of a variety of different plants.

It was actually plants that were first responsible for the discovery of endocannabinoids and cannabinoid receptors in our brain and other parts of our bodies.
The receptors in our body are the parts of the cells that take in the positive effects of cannabinoids, whether they are produced by our bodies or consumed from plants.

There are a few different types of plants known to contain cannabinoids, namely, Theobroma Cacao (Chocolate), Japanese Pine, Cannabis, Echinacea and other plants in the Brasica genus.[I]

Hundreds, if not thousands, of studies have been conducted with very positive results - especially as it relates to cancer, diabetes, tumors and inflammatory conditions.
