found in the Cannabis sativa L. plant. There are two (2) Major Classes of Cannabinoids:

Endocannabinoids
(The Ones on the Inside)

Endocannabinoids are the cannabinoids produced by a human or animal body and cannabinoid receptors can be found predominantly in the brain and Nervous System. Your body's Cannabinoid System (ECS) is related to the Central Nervous System (CNS), which deals with how your body communicates from one cell to the next.

The ECS or Endocannabinoid System is an elementary part of your body's protective and regenerative capabilities.

Exocannabinoids
(The Ones on the Outside)

Exocannabinoids make up the cannabinoids that are either synthesized by plants or in a laboratory by humans. These types of cannabinoids can be used for medical and therapeutic purposes to assist the body in accelerating the healing process, nourishing and helping to repair and protect it's tissues and cells. Synthetic Cannabinoids can be a little more dangerous and all consumption of cannabinoid products should be something you should consult with a professional about or educate yourself.
